Both cars feature factory-installed LED interior lighting. The 3-axle converted passenger cars can be permanently coupled together via the current-carrying coupling rod . Current-carrying close couplings are located at both outer ends. Length over buffers approx. 30.5 cm.
The pair of 3-axle converted passenger cars is intended as an addition to the “German Wine Route” passenger car set with item number 43189. The power supply for the interior lighting of the car set is provided via the pickup shoe on the 4-axle passenger car from passenger car set 43189.
A suitable diesel locomotive of the 218 series can be found in the Märklin H0 Classic range under article number 39215.
