Electric locomotive class 1189 “Austrian Crocodile” of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB). Blood orange basic color scheme. Road number 1189.02. Operating condition in the mid/late 1970s.

Controlled high-performance drive with flywheel, centrally installed. 2 driving wheels in each of the two driving frames driven by cardan shafts. Traction tires. Articulated chassis for cornering. Triple headlights and a red tail light that change depending on the direction of travel, in conventional operation, can be switched digitally. Lighting can be switched to a white tail light. Headlights on locomotive ends 2 and 1 can each be switched off separately digitally. Double A light function. Driver’s cab and engine room lighting can each be switched digitally separately. Lighting with maintenance-free warm white and red light-emitting diodes (LEDs). Highly detailed metal design with many separately attached details. Brake hoses and screw coupling imitations are included as separately attachable parts. Length over buffers approx. 23.4 cm.
